The High School Production "Harvey" by Mary Chase

This spring the high school girls gave three performances of "Harvey," a play written in 1944 by Mary Chase. Harvey is the name of a six-foot tall, invisible, white rabbit, whom only his friend, Elwood P. Dowd, can see. Mr. Dowd's unusual friendship causes problems for his sister, his niece, and anyone else to whom he introduces Harvey. A comedy of errors ensues as Mr. Dowd's family attempts to admit him to a sanitarium. Who is crazier, Mr. Dowd or the psychiatrists?
