This fall, IHM Academy fielded its first official sports team when the junior high boys took the field for four soccer games against local schools. Under the direction of head coach, Mr. Michael Benner, and assistant coach, Mr. Michael Bourbeau, the boys went undefeated in IHMA's inaugural season!
George Okvist III scored the Academy's and season’s first goal in the season-opening 4-1 home victory over Cambridge Christian School. IHMA next defeated Lakes International Language Academy 5-3 at home, then went on the road for a 5-2 win at CCS, before returning home for a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Lakes International in the season finale.
